Anti-anginal Drugs Flashcards
What is the operative principle of antianginal drugs and oxygen demand to the myocardium
- myocardial oxygen demand is dependent on preload, after load and heart rate mean while
- Antianginal drugs inhibits preload, afterload and heart rate which helps to increase oxygen delivery to the myocardium and increases the coronary function
List the drugs under the class of nitrates
*nitroglycerin
*Isosorbide mononitrate
*Isosorbide Dinitrate
5 Clinical uses of nitrates
