A
> Inversion sprain
*more commonly injured than medial

Symptoms
A
> Pain/tenderness
Swelling/bruising
Muscle spasm
Inability to weight bear
*Have to rule out fracture first
- OTTAWA ankle rules (pain in malleolar area + one of the following - foot/ankle x-ray dependent on which) :Pain in distal 6cm of post fib
:Pain in distal 6cm of post medial malleolus
:Pain in 5th MT
:Pain in Navicular
: Can’t bear weight
*Signals need for x-ray

> Talar tilt - CFL

> Proprio work will be key to regaining function
