16
Q

3 trunks of brachial plexus

A

Superior - C5 and C6

Middle - C7

Inferior - C8 and T1

17
Q

Divisions of brachial plexus

A
  • Each trunk divides into 2 branches, one moving anteriorly and one posterioly
  • So now 3 anterior divisions and 3 posterior divisions
18
Q

Brachial plexus cords

A
  • Named relative to position relative to axillary artery
    • Lateral - anterior divison of superior trunk and anterior division of middle trunk
    • Posterior - posterior division of superior trunk, posterior division of middle trunk and posterior division of inferior trunk
    • Medial - anterior division of inferior trunk
19
Q

What is each stage of brachial plexus?

A

Roots > trunks > divisions > cords > branches
