During ulnar deviation of radiocarpal joint, the carpals glide occurs
laterally

concave base on proximal end of distal segment articulates with convex head on distal end of proximal segment

CMC: thumb
During flexion of CMC: thumb, the glide occurs
medially
During extension of CMC: thumb, the glide occurs
laterally
abd and add: convex base of 1st metacarpal glides on concave trapezium in opposite direction from distal end of metacarpal
CMC: thumb
During abduction of CMC: thumb, the glide of base occurs
posteriorly
During adduction of CMC: thumb, the glide of base occurs
anteriorly
CMC: fingers movement

PIP and DIP: fingers AK motions

During flexion of PIP and DIP, the glide occurs

During extension of PIP and DIP, the glide occurs
