A
Carried out so majority of produce is sold and income generated can provide a livelihood for farm workers as well as investment into the farm

A
Majority of produce consumed by landowner, though a little surplus may be sold

A
Capital intensive - money invested in soil improvement, machinery, buildings and pest control - low amount of farm workers
Labour intensive - high amount of farm workers

Large scale, high capital input
