Sp 1 - Well point
On medial side of big toe about 0.1 cun posterior to corner of nail bed. PP or PO 0.1-0.2 inch proximally or prick to cause bleeding.
N: Branches of superficial peroneal nerve and plantar digital proprial nerve.
C: None
I: Abdominal distension
A: Clears heat
Sp 3 - Source Point of Spleen
Proximal and inferior to the head of the 1st metatarsal bone at the junction of the red and white skin. PP 0.3-1.0 inch.
N: Branches of saphenous nerve and superficial peroneal nerve
C: None
I: Abdominal distension
A: Harmonizes the middle burner

In depression distal and inferior to base of first metatarsal bone at the junction of the red and white skin. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Saphenous nerve and a branch of superficial peroneal nerve.
C: None

Sp 6 - Meeting of 3 Yin of Leg
3 cun proximal to the tip of the medial malleolus on the posterior border of the tibia (13 cun from inferior border of medial tibial condyle to prominence of medial malleolus - measure midpoint at 6.5 cun, slide down half a cun to 6 cun, take midpoint which is 3 cun proximal to tip of medial malleolus). PP 0.5-1.0 inch or PO 1.0-1.5 inch proximally.
N: Tibial nerve
C: CI in pregnancy. Caution w/ great saphenous vein and posterior tibial artery and vein.
I: Abdominal pain and distension
A: Benefits the lower burner

Just distal to the lower border of the medial tibial condyle in the depression on the medial border of the tibia. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Tibial nerve
C: Caution w/ great saphenous vein and posterior tibial artery and vein.

2 cun proximal to the mediosuperior border of the patella on the belly of the vastus medialis muscle. Point best located with knee flexed. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Branches of femoral nerve
C: None
I: Irregular menses, amenorrhea

Sp 15
4 cun lateral to CV 8 (centre of umbilicus) at the border of the rectus abdominis muscle. Also 2 cun lateral to St 25 or 3.5 cun lateral to Kd 16. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: 10th intercostal nerve
C: Peritoneal cavity in thinner patients
I: Abdominal pain, abdominal distension
A: Regulates Qi
Sp 21
On mid-axillary line, 6 cun inferior to axilla, midway between axilla and free end of eleventh rib (note - Lv 13 is anterior and inferior to the free end of the 11th rib). PO 0.3-0.5 inch along the intercostal space.
N: 7th intercostal nerve and a branch of the long thoracic nerve.
C: Caution for pneumothorax w/ Lung and costodiaphragmatic recess.
I: Weak muscles, weak joints
A: Regulates Qi
