Kd 1 - Well Point
At junction of distal 1/3 and proximal 2/3 of the sole, from the base of the second toe to the heel. Point found in depression formed when foot in plantar flexion. PP 0.5 - 1.0 inch.
N: Second common plantar digital nerve
C: None
I: Hot flashes
A: Clears empty heat
Kd 2 - Spring Point
Anterior and inferior to the medial malleolus, in the depression on the lower border of the navicular tuberosity. PP 0.5 - 1.0 inch.
N: Branches of the medial curral cutaneous nerve and the medial plantar nerve.
C: None
I: Irregular menses
A: Clears empty heat
Kd 3 - Source Point of Kidney
In the depression between the medial malleolus and the calcaneal tendon, level with the prominence of the medial malleolus. PP 0.5-1.0 inch or toward UB 60.
N: Tibial nerve
C: Posterior tibial artery and vein
I: Irregular menses
A: Clears empty heat

In the depression of the lower border of the medial malleolus or 1 cun inferior to the prominence of the medial malleolus. Point found between tendon sheaths. PP 0.3 - 0.5 inch or PO 0.3 - 0.5 inch superiorly.
N: Tibial nerve
C: Posterior tibial artery and vein
I: Irregular menses
A: Clears empty heat
Kd 7 - River Point
2 cun directly proximal to Kd 3, on the anterior border of the calcaneal tendon. PP 0.5 - 1.0 inch.
N: Tibial nerve
C: Posterior tibial artery and vein
I: Dysuria
A: Resolves dampness
Kd 10 - He-Sea Point
With the knee flexed, point is on medial side of popliteal fossa between the semitendinosus and semimembranosus tendons, level with UB 40. PP 0.8 - 1.5 inch.
N: Medial femoral cutaneous nerve.
C: None
I: Dysuria
A: Resolves dampness
Kd 16 - Penetrating Vessel Point
0.5 cun lateral to the center of the umbilicus, level with CV 8. PP 1.0 - 1.5 inch.
N: Tenth intercostal nerve
C: Peritoneal cavity in thinner patients
I: Abdominal pain
A: Relieves pain

In the depression on the lower border of the clavicle, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline. PO 0.5 - 1.0 inch along the inferior border of the clavicle.
N: Medial supraclavicular nerve
