SI 1 - Well point
On ulnar side of little finger, about 0.1 cun posterior to corner of nail bed. PP 0.1 inch or prick.
N: Branches of ulnar nerve
C: None
I: Feibrile diseases
A: Removes obstructions
SI 3
Make loose fist, point is proximal to head of 5th metacarpal bone at junction of red and white skin. PP 0.5-1.5 inches toward LI 3 (on radial side of index in depression proximal to head of 2nd metacarpal).
N: Branches of ulnar nerve
C: None
I: Febrile diseases
A: Expels exterior wind
SI 8
Between olecranon of ulna and medial epicondyle of humerus. Located w/ elbow flexed. PP 0.3-0.5 inch or PO 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Ulnar nerve
C: None
I: Lymphadenopathy

On back of shoulder. When arm is adducted, point is 1 cun superior to tip of posterior axillary fold. PP 0.8-1.5 inch.
N: Radial nerve
C: None
I: Pain in scapular region

On back of shoulder. When arm is adducted, point is in depression inferior and lateral to the scapular spine directly superior to SI 9. Inferior to posterior lateral aspect of acromion of scapula. PP 0.8-1.5 inch.
N: Suprascapular nerve
C: None
I: Pain in scapular region

On mid-line of infrascapular fossa at the junction of the upper 1/3rd and middle 1/3rd of the distance between the lower border of the scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapula. PP 0.5-1.0 inch or obliquely 1.0-1.5 inch.
N: Suprascapular nerve
C: None
I: Pain in scapular region

In centre of suprascapular fossa, directly superior to SI 11. When arm is abducted, point is in depression. PP 0.5-0.7 inch or PO 0.5-1.0 inch toward the spine.
N: Suprascapular nerve and accessory nerve
C: Lung - Pneumothorax risk in thinner patients
I: Pain in scapular region

On the medial extremity of the suprascapular fossa, approximately midway between SI 10 and spinous process of T2. PP 0.3-0.5 inch or PO 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Branch of suprascapular nerve
C: Lung - Pneumothorax risk on deep obliquely medial needling
I: Pain and stiffness of scapular region
A: Removes obstructions
SI 19
Between tragus and condyloid process of mandible where a depression is formed when mouth is slightly open. Directly superior to GB2 which is at posterior border of condyloid process of mandible and is located w/ the mouth open. PP 0.5-1.0 inch w/ mouth slightly open.
N: Auriculotemporal nerve and a branch of the facial nerve,
C: Superficial temporal artery and vein
I: Tinnitus
