Front Mu point of the Heart
On the anterior midline, 6 cun superior to the umbilicus and 2 cun inferior to the sternocostal angle. PP 0.5-1.0 inch or PO 1.0-1.5 inch inferiorly.
N: Branch of the 7th intercostal nerve.
C: Heart and/or liver in cardiomegaly and/or hepatomegaly
I: Cardiac pain

Front Mu point of the Pericardium
On the midline of the sternum, at the level of the 4th intercostal space. In most males, level with the tops of the nipples. PSq 0.5-1.0 inch inferiorly or superiorly or 1.0-1.5 inch laterally.
N: Branch of the 4th intercostal nerve
C: None
I: Cardiac pain
A: Opens the Chest

In the center of the suprasternal fossa. First PP 0.2 inch and the insert needle tip inferiorly along the posterior aspect of the sternum 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Branch of the supraclavicular nerve
C: Jugular arch, aortic arch and trachea
I: Cough
A: Relieves coughing
CV 24
In the depression in the center of the mentolabial groove. PO 0.2-0.3 inch superiorly or laterally toward Jiachengjiang (1 cun lateral to CV 24).
N: Branch of the facial nerve
C: None
I: Toothache
A: Relieves pain

CV 3, 4 and 6 are indicated for irregular menses and have the action of Regulates menses.

CV 12 and 13 are indicated for epigastric pain and have the action of Harmonizes the Stomach.

CV 14 and 17 are indicated for cardiac pain and have the action of Opens the Chest.
