Inferior to the L4 spinous process, level with the superior border of the iliac crests. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Branch of the lumbar nerve

Inferior to the L2 spinous process. PP 0.5-1.0 inch.
N: Branch of the lumbar nerve
C: Spinal cord

Inferior to the T7 spinous process, approximately at level with the inferior angle of the scapula with the arms adducted. PO 0.5-1.0 inch superiorly.
N: Branch of the 7th thoracic nerve
C: Spinal cord

GV 14 - Meeting point of 6 Yang Channels
Inferior to the C7 spinous process. PO 0.5-1.0 inch superiorly.
N: Branches of the 8th cervical nerve and the first thoracic nerve
C: Spinal cord
I: Neck pain
A: Calms the mind
GV 20
On the midline of the head, 7 cun superior to the posterior hairline and 5 cun posterior to the anterior hairline. Point approximately at the midpoint of the lines connecting the two apices of the ears, over the top of the head. PSq 0.5-1.0 inch. Angle anteriorly to activate Yang, angle posteriorly to suppress Yang.
N: Branch of the great occipital nerve
C: None
I: Headache
A: Calms the mind
GV 28
At the junction of the gingiva and the frenulum of the upper lip. PO 0.1-0.2 inch superiorly or prick to cause bleeding.
N: Branch of the superior alveolar nerve
C: None
I: Bleeding the gums
A: Benefits the gums
