Lu 1 - Front Mu point of Lung

A

L: 6 cun lateral to anterior midline in 1st intercostal space, 1 cun below Lu 2, in the delto-pectoral groove (Lu 2 is in depression below lateral end of clavicle 6 cun lateral to anterior midline). PO along intercostal space 0.5-0.8 inch toward lateral aspect of chest

N: Intermediate supraclavicular nerve

C: Lung - Pneumothorax risk

I: Asthma

A: Descends Lung Qi

A

L: On the cubital crease to the radial side of the biceps brachii tendon. Located with elbow slightly flexed. PP 0.5 - 1.0 inch

N: Lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve and radial nerve

C: Cephalic vein

I: Asthma

A: Descends Lung Qi

Lu 7 - Command Point for Posterior Head and Neck

A

L: Proximal to the styloid process of the radius, 1.5 cun proximal to LI 5 at the transverse crease of the wrist (LI 5 is on the radial side of the wrist in the centre of the anatomic snuffbox). PO 0.3-0.5 inch superiorly

N: Lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve

C: Cephalic vein, radial artery and vein

I: Asthma

A: Disperses and descends Lung Qi

A

L: On transverse crease of wrist in depression on radial side of radial artery. PP 0.2-0.3 inch.

N: Lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve

C: Radial artery and vein

I: Asthma
