PC 1
1 cun lateral to the nipple in the 4th intercostal space, 5 cun lateral to the anterior midline. PO 0.3-0.8 inch laterally along intercostal space.
N: 4th intercostal nerve
C: Lung - pneumothorax risk
I: Mastitis
A: Clears heat
PC 3
On traverse cubital crease on the ulnar side of the biceps brachii tendon (opposite Lu 5 on the radial side of the tendon). PP 0.5-0.8 inch or prick to cause bleeding.
N: Median nerve
C: Brachial artery and vein
I: Pain in the cardiac region
A: Clears heat
PC 6
2 cun proximal to the transverse crease of the wrist, between the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis tendons. PP 0.5-0.8 inch or PO 0.8-1.5 inch proximally.
N: Median nerve and anterior interosseous nerve
C: Anterior interosseous artery and vein
I: Cardiac pain
A: Clears heat
PC 7 - Source Point
In the depression in the middle of the transverse crease of the wrist, between the palmaris longus and the flexor carpi radialis tendons. PP 0.3-0.5 inch.
N: Median nerve
C: None

PC 9 - Well point
In the center of the tip of the middle finger. PP or PO 0.1-0.2 inch or prick to cause bleeding.
N: Branch of anterior interosseous nerve.
C: None
