Q

The subject of today´s class is the gender of “the thesis”.

A

La tesis de la clase de hoy es el género de “la tesis”.
La tesis can mean subject-topic or thesis. I have seen however el tesis for topic-subject but that is WRONG. It is always la tesis according to everything I have read. USUALLY they use El tema de la clase es…if they want to say the topic-subject: el tema. Still not sure about this. I am sure: it is La tesis- words ending in sis are often f. It is el tema from Greek = masculine.
