B. Which is good, because every job I have had, teamwork is essential to complete the mission
C. A team is only as effective as its individual parts
D. And each part must be functioning properly for the group to succeed

A. I have a strong desire to continually learn and develop my ability
B. so that I can excel at whatever it is I’m doing
C. the more you sweat in training the less you will bleed in combat
D. don’t do it until you get it right, do it until you cant get it wrong
E. Recognizing that my crew, and the civilians we are called to protect are dependent on me drives me to excel

A

A. A high fitness level is a prerequisite to most firefighter activities
B. Poor physical fitness can jeopardize our missions and endanger my crew and civilians we protect
C. Engineers especially have to perform under extreme physical exertion
D. I have worked hard to achieve and I will commit to maintaining a high physical fitness level
E. Regular PT with SWAT. Held to same standards as officers which is the level for special operation units. We go above.

A. I have worked diligently to accumulate knowledge of our fleet of apparatus, from the different generation of engines, ladders, Uboat, tenders, and brush truck
B. I have studied and memorized large portions of our IFSTA textbook, manuals, volume 2, and Gilbert policies that relate to engineering
C. I have worked hard to learn fireground tactics that are essential for the engineer
D. And I have worked diligently to learn hydraulic theory so that I can be a more effective engineer
E. I have established a solid basis of knowledge, but I know that I still have a lot to learn and will continue to apply myself to learn it
