V. Transmission
A
- Automatic transmission overheats at any range
- Class 3 transmission leak
- Transmission will not go into lockup for fire pump ops
- “do not shift” light on
- Coolant in transmission

VI. Crew Cab Area
A
- Broken cab mounts
- Cut or broken seatbelts (either individual seat out of service, or if front truck out of service)
- Cracked or broken windshield obstructions (line of vision) or mirrors
- Inoperable windshield wipers
- Broken or missing door latches

VII. Tires and wheels
A
- Tread depth less than 4/32, 2/32
- Cut in side wall that penetrate to the threads
- Bulges greater than 3/8”
- Wheels: Bent, broken, cracked
- Missing lug nuts

VIII. Axles, Chassis, Driveline, Steering, and Suspension system
A
- Cracks
- Steering gear linkage/box (bolts loose/missing; cracks)
- Free play >10% (2” on 20” steering wheel)
- Class 3 leaks in power steering system
- Cracked or broken springs or spring mounts

IX. Fire pump
A
- Pump will not engage
- Throttle or the Pressure control system is not operational
- Pump transmission components that have class 3 leak
- Water tank has major leak
