2. I was honored to be selected from my peers when the program was revamped
3. We work a hard profession;
4. this is a great opportunity to help those who help others
5. I think my concern for others welfare (psychological, emotional, physical, spiritual) is an important trait for an engineer

VI. I have been utilized as an OOC engineer

1. I complete my acting engineer over the summer and was utilized in that role quite a bit
2. I was offered an opportunity to fill a needed rover engineer spot in January
3. Since then I have almost exclusively been working as an engineer
4. I have been gaining first hand exp on what it is to work as an engineer
5. I have been able to experience different crews, trucks, first dues
6. I believe that I would be a good engineer because I have been able to work as an engineer over these last few months
7. If promoted I would love to give back and contribute to the development of future engineer candidates. We have been privileged with excellent training in the engineers academy and I would love to bring that back to the dept.
