1st dorsal extensor compartment
where is the tunnel located?
fibro-osseous tunnel at the distal radius
what needs to be examined?
thumb joints - check base of thumb for osteoarthritis
what test should be carried out for diagnosing DQS?
Finklestein’s test - resisted thumb extension
2 parts of non-operative treatment?
splints, steroid injection
operative treatment?
decompression
