What happens when vegetable oils burn?
They release a lot of energy when they burn in air
What can vegetable oils be used as?
Fuels like biofuels and biodiesel
What do the molecules in vegetable oils have?
Hydrocarbon chains
What are molecules with carbon-carbon double bonds like?
Unsaturated
What is it called if there are several double bonds in each molecule?
Polyunsaturated
What do unsaturated oils react with?
