Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates provide energy to the body, control blood glucose and metabolism of insulin cholesterol and triglyceride (stored fats)
Protein
Protein repairs and builds body tissue, improves immune system and drives metabolic reactions.
Lipids (fats)
Lipids provide protection for organs, strengthen cell membranes, insulates the body, helps absorb fat soluble vitamins and modulate hormones.
Water
Keeps blood stream as a liquid, maintains body temperature (homeostasis), maintains every cell in the body and protects joints and organs. As well as absorbing water solluble vitamins
Vitamins
Vitamins support growth, cells, organs and boost the immune system.
Minerals
Minerals make enzymes, hormones, keeps bones strong, and keeps muscles, the heart and brain working properly.
