1/ Protective clothing
2/ Never replace the cap – dispose in a hard plastic container
What to do after Needle prick accidents?
- reported
- recorded in an accident book
- take the patient to have blood taken for type identification
- receive HepB vaccination latest the next day
- report to Occupational Medicine service
- If there is a possibility of HIV (the source is HIV positive), report to Szent Istvan hospital within 4 hours.
