birth certificate

e.g.

loyalty card
a card given by a shop, supermarket, etc to its regular customers allowing them to have advantages such as lower prices, money back on goods etc
e.g.
I flashed my loyalty card and was in.
spare part
a new part for a vehicle or machine, that is used to replace a part that is damaged or broken
e.g.
Is it easy to get spare parts for your car?
short-cut
a quicker and more direct way of getting somewhere than the usual one
e.g.
Carlos decided to take a short-cut home.
We were late for the game, but found a short cut through the fields.
last-minute
happening at the last possible moment
e.g.
a few last-minute changes to the script
a last-minute decision
well-behaved
behaving in a calm polite way, and not being rude or violent
e.g.
a well-behaved child
The crowd was well-behaved.
absent-minded
likely to forget things, especially because you are thinking about something else

narrow-minded
unwilling to accept or understand new or different ideas, opinions, or customs

having continued or existed for a long time
e.g.
a long-standing member of the committee

hard-wearing (Br)
products that are hard-wearing will remain in good condition for a long time even when they are used a lot

e.g.

self-righteous
believing that what you say or do is right and other people are wrong
e.g.
religions make people self-righteous.
She’s a vegetarian, but she’s not at all self-righteous about it.
