someone who commits the crime of arson
e.g.
Last year arsonists attacked a house in Coventry also earmarked as a clinic.
fraud
the crime of deceiving people in order to gain something such as money or goods
e.g.
She was found guilty of fraud.
shoplifting
the crime of stealing things from shops, for example by hiding them in a bag or under your clothes

e.g.
She had been falsely accused of shoplifting in a clothing store.
moral standards
Moral standards are those concerned with or relating to human behavior , especially the distinction between good and bad behavior.
e.g.
1. Some people believe that society shapes our moral standards.
2. I think you can run a business to the highest moral standards.
slum
a house or an area of a city that is in very bad condition, where very poor people live
e.g.
a slum area
slum housing
gang
a group of young people who spend time together, and who are often involved in crime or drugs and who often fight against other groups
e.g.
The parents have denied that their son is a gang member.
drift into sth
start doing sth without a particular plan or purpose
e.g.
I just drifted into teaching, really.
parental neglect
Parental Neglect happens when the parents are shown not to pay a lot, if any, attention or care to their children for some reason.
