file servers store data in a central location and must be kept secure. Allows users to store files remotely rather than on a local hard drive and share them with other users

allows administrator to control priorities, availability and properties, view, pause, resume and delete print jobs remotely.

a server that installs, operate and hosts applications and associated services for end users, IT services and organisations

hosts websites, runs software allowing access over internet to web pages
what is a mail server
remote computer systems receives and delivers emails over the internet
