bespoke software
made to your exact requirements
expensive
limited user support
takes time to create
offers huge commercial and business benefits giving a competitive advantage
embedded software
control machines or devices not typically considered a computer
- specialised for the hardware it runs on, can stand alone or interact with a larger system via a communication system like internet or bluetooth
