A

-Increased heart rate and breathing rate
-Diverts blood flow away from nonessential parts of the body to the muscles
-Dilation of the blood vessels inside muscles (lets more blood to circulate)
-Breaks down stored glycogen into glucose

A

-When blood sugar levels are too high, the pancreas will release insulin
-Insulin stimulates the uptake of glucose in the liver
-the liver stores excess glucose as glycogen
