A

-The hypothalamus detect the increase
-Sweat glands release sweat (cools skin through evaporation)
-hairs relax and lay flat allowing heat to not get trapped next to the skin
-blood vessels dilate to increase blood flow to the skin for heat to leave by radiation

A

-Hairs stand up to trap warm air next to the skin
-blood vessels contract, reducing blood flow to the skin
-The body shivers
