Q

Why would someone be given an antibody injection

A

someone with a compromised immune system or if you have a virulent pathogen and body doesn’t have enough time to fight (rabies)
especially given to armed forces/medical staff

Q

do antibodies given via an antibody injection last long in the body or not?

A

do not stay in body too long as these are ‘non-self’ cells and so would trigger an immune response
