What is the difference between “transformational” and “transactional” leadership?
In transformational leadership, the leader will focus on the building of a strategic vision and development of an appropriate culture. In transactional leadership, the leader is more concerned with ensuring that the operational flow is appropriate to enable the strategy to be achieved.
Covey (7 Habits) suggests that there are three types of power exerted by leaders:
1) C________ - the follower is concerned or afraid of what will happen if they do not follow the expectations of the leader. (fear, punishment)
