When will all service members have their performance reviewed?
During the month of their birth, annually
Senior Officers commence their review at the end of the calendar year.
How long must a supervisor supervise a member before evaluating them?
A minimum period of ninety (90) days
What is the duration for which an appraisal form remains in a member’s unit personnel file?
Five (5) years
What happens when a member is permanently transferred into a unit after an appraisal has been initiated?
The assigned appraiser will liaise with the member’s former supervisor.

Three (3)

Stand in the top 25% of their recruit class and pass all examinations without rewrite

The Unit Commander reviews the final performance appraisal and recommends reclassification if performance is satisfactory.

If performing a policing function and the minimum service period has been met
What will a Unit Commander do if they recommend withholding a constable from reclassification?
Advise Labour Relations and Employee Services immediately via e-mail.
