What is the main priority for the wellbeing of Service members?
The medical and psychological wellbeing of Service members is a priority for the Service.
What assistance is provided to members coping with an event under the SIU mandate?

- Any other injury likely to interfere with health or comfort

To direct the Service’s response to the SIU investigation.

How can other items be seized by the SIU?
By consent or by search warrant.
What must be proven before turning over firearms or less lethal weapons to the SIU?
The firearm and/or less lethal weapon must be proven safe at a proving station.
