He (Salih (a.s)) said: ‘Oh my people, tell me if I have a clear proof from my Lord and He granted mercy upon me from Himself. So who will come to my help against Allah (s.w.t) if I disobey Him? So you extend nothing to me but loss’.

64

A

And oh my people, this is the she camel of Allah (s.w.t) assigned for you as a sign. So leave her free to eat on the Earth of Allah (s.w.t) and do not even touch her with evil (intentions), lest an approaching punishment should seize you.

65
Q

A

So they slaughtered her, so he (Salih (a.s)) said: ‘Enjoy yourselves in your homes for (only) 3 days. That is a promise not to be backed out’.

66

A

So when Our command came, We saved Salih (a.s) and those who believed along with him out of mercy from Us. And We saved them from the disgrace of that day. Indeed your Lord, He is The All-Powerful, The All-Mighty.

67
Q

A

And those who transgressed were caught by the cry and they were found dead in their homes, fallen on thir knees/faces.

68
Q

A

As though they had never lived there in it. Look, indeed Thamud rejected their Lord. Look, away with Thamud.

69
Q

A

And Our Messengers (angels) came to Ibrahim (a.s) with the good news. They said: ‘Peace’. He (Ibrahim (a.s)) said: ‘Peace’. Then he took no time in bringing a roasted calf.

70
Q

A

So when he noticed their hands not reaching towards it, he found them strange and was scared of them. They said: ‘Do not fear. Indeed we are sent to the people of Lut (a.s)’.

71
Q

A

And his wife was standing so she laughed. Then We gave her the good news with Ishaaq (a.s) and about Yaqoob (a.s) after Ishaaq (a.s).

72
Q

A

She said: ‘Woe to me! Shall I give birth to a child while I am an old woman and this is my husband, an old man. This is something amazing indeed’.

73
Q

A

They (The Angels) said: ‘Do you marvel at Allah (s.w.t)’s command? Allah (s.w.t)’s mercy and His blessings have always been upon you oh people of the house. Surely He is Praiseworthy, Glorious’.

74
Q

A

So when the fear left Ibrahim (a.s) and the happy news came to him, he started disputing with us (Angels) about the people of Lut (a.s).

75
Q

A

Indeed Ibrahim (a.s) is forebearing, very penetant, ever-turning (to Allah (s.w.t)).

76
Q

A

Oh Ibrahim (a.s), leave it. In fact the command of your Lord there has to come upon them a punishment which cannot be averted.

77
Q

A

And when Our messengers came to Lut (a.s), he was saddened because of them and his heart felt uneasy for their sake. And he said: ‘This is a very hard day’.

78
Q

A

And his people came to him rushing upon him. They were already habitual to commit evil acts. He said: ‘oh my people, these are my daughters. They are purer for you, so have fear of Allah (s.w.t) and do not disgrace me in regards my guests. Is there no responsible man amongst you?’

79
Q

A

They said: ‘You know we have no claim on your daughters. And you know well what we want’.

80
Q

A

He (Lut (a.s)) said: ‘Would that I had some power over you, or could seek refuge in a strong support’.

81
Q

A

They (The Angels) said: ‘Oh Lut (a.s), we are messengers of your Lord. They shall never reach you so move with your family in a part of the night and none of you shall turn to look back, except your woman. Indeed there has to befall her whatever will befall them. Their deadline is the morning. Is it not that the morning is near?’

82
Q

A

So when Our command came to pass, We turned their habitations upside down and rained on it (city/people) stones of hard clay, one over another.

83
Q

A

Marked from your Lord. And it is not far from the transgressors (pagans of Arabia).

84
Q

A

And to Madyan (We sent) their brother Shu’ayb (a.s). He said: ‘Oh my people, worship Allah (s.w.t), you do not have any God other than Him. So do not curtail the measure and the weight. Indeed I see you quite well off and indeed I fear upon you the punishment of an encircling Day’.

Q

A

And oh my people, perfect the measure and the balance with justice. And do not curtail the people of their things and do not go about the Earth spreading disorder.

86
Q

A

Whatever is allowed by Allah (s.w.t) to retain lawfully is best for you if you are believers. And I am not upon you a guardian.

87
Q

A

They said: ‘Oh Shu’ayb (a.s), does your prayer command you that We should forsake what our fathers used to worship or that we shoud not deal with our wealth as we please? Indeed you pretend to be the only man of wisdom and guidance.

88
Q

A

He (Shu’ayb (a.s)) said: ‘Oh my people, tell me if I am on a clear path from my Lord and He has provided me from a good provision from Himself, (should I still leave you unguided), I do not want to do in your absence what I forbid you from. I want nothing but to set things right as far as I can. And my ability to do anything comes from none but Allah (s.wt). In Him I place my trust and upon Him I turn (in humbleness).

89
Q

A

And oh my people, let not your hostility towards me cause you to suffer what was suffered by the people of Nuh (a.s) or the people of Hud (a.s) or the people of Salih (a.s). And the people of Lut (a.s) are not far from you.

90
Q

A

And seek forgiveness of your Lord, then turn towards Him in repentence. Indeed my Lord is Very Merciful, Most Loving.

91
Q

A

They said: ‘Oh Shua’yb (a.s), we do not understand much of what you say. And in fact we see you are weak. But (if it was not) for your family, we would certainly stone you. And to us you are a not a man of respect’.

92
Q

A

He said: ‘Oh my peole, is my clan more respectable to you than Allah (s.w.t), as you have taken Him as something behind your backs? Indeed my Lord encompasses all that you do’.

93
Q

A

And oh my people, do what you can and I am to do (what I can). Soon you will know the one whom the punishment will visit, putting him to disgace, and the one who is false. And wait, I am with you waiting.

94
Q

A

And when Our command came, We saved Shu’ayb (a.s) and those who believed along with him out of mercy from Us. And those who transgressed were caught by the Cry, and they were found in their homes, fallen on their knees/faces.

95
Q

A

As though they never lived there. Lo, ruined were Madyan like Thamud were ruined.

96
Q

A

And We have sent Musa (a.s) with Our signs and a clear proof.

97
Q

A

To pharoah and his group so they followed the command of pharoah, while the command of pharoah was not right.

98
Q

A

He will lead his people on The Day of Judgement and make them descend into the Fire. And it is the evil descending place.

99
Q

A

The curse was made to pursue them here and on The Day of Judgement. It is the evil reward to be offered.

100
Q

A

That is a part of the story of the towns We narrate to you. Some of them are still standing and (some are eradicated like) a harvested field.

101
Q

A

And We did no wrong to them. Rather, they have wronged themselves. So their gods whom they used to invoke besides Allah (s.w.t) did not come to their help in any way when the command of your Lord came. And they added nothing to them except destruction.

102
Q

A

Such is the seizing of your Lord when He seizes the (people of the) towns while they are transgressing. Indeed His seizing is painful, severe.

103
Q

A

In this there is a sign for the one who fears the punishment of The Hereafter. That is a Day when all the people shall be gathered together. That is a Day which shall be witnessed by all.

104
Q

A

And We do not defer it but for a limited time.

105
Q

A

The Day it comes, noone shall speak except by His permission. So some of them will be wretched and (some will be) fortunate.

106
Q

A

And as for those who were wretched, they shall be in the Fire and in it crying and howling.

107
Q

A

They shall remain there as long as The Heavens and The Earth (remains intact) unless your Lord wills (otherwise). Surely your Lord does what He intends.

108
Q

A

As for those who were fortunate, they shall be living there in Paradise, living there forever, as long as The Heavens and The Earth (remains intact), unless your Lord wills (otherwise). It will be an award never to be seized.

109
Q

A

So be not in doubt about what they worship. They worship only in the way their fathers used to worship previously. And indeed We will give them their full share not being curtailed in the least.

110
Q

A

And We have given Musa (a.s) the Book, then it was disputed about by them. But for a word that has already come to pass from Lord, the matter would have been decided between them. Surely they are in confounding doubt about it.

111
Q

A

And indeed to all of them, your Lord shall pay for their deeds in full. Surely He is Well Aware of what they do.

112
Q

A

So stand firm (on your faith) as you have been commanded as well as those having repented (from disbelief) have joined you, and do not exceed the limits. Indeed He is All-Seeing of what you do.

113
Q

A

And do not incline towards the wrongdoers, lest the Fire should catch you and you have no supporters other than Allah (s.w.t). Then you will not be helped.

114
Q

A

And establish prayer on both ends of the day and in the early hours of the night. Surely the good deeds erase the bad deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful.

115
Q

A

And be patient, for indeed Allah (s.w.t) does not let the reward of the righteous go to waste.

116
Q

A

Then why is it there were no people among the generations before you who would have enough remnants of wisdom to stop others from creating disorder in the land except a few among them whom We saved (from Our punishment). And the wrongdoers followed the luxuries they were involved in and became criminals.

117
Q

A

So your Lord is not such that He would destroy the towns unjustly whilst the people are good in their ways.

118
Q

A

And if your Lord had willed, He could have made all the people a single community, but they will continue in their differences.

119
Q

A

Except those who Allah (s.w.t) has blessed with mercy and for that He has created them. And perfect is the word of your Lord: ‘I will surely fill the Hell with jinn and men all together’.

120
Q

A

Here We narrate to you all such stories from the events of the Messengers (a.s), as we strengthen your heart therewith. And in these (stories), there has come to you the truth and a good counsil and a reminder to those who believe.

121
Q

A

And say to those who do not believe: ‘Do (whatever you can). We are doing (what we can)’.

122
Q

A

And wait, We too are waiting.

123
Q

A

And to Allah (s.w.t) belongs the secrets of The Heavens and The Earth and to Him the entire matter will be returned. So worship Him and have trust upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.
