Rule 1
If the sc is a double sc, the vowel verb loses its vowel and the process of elision takes place.
Eg. Abapheki ba-osa inyama > Abapheki bosa inyama
Rule 2
If the sc is a one letter sc, the process of consonantalisation takes place.
U > w. I > y
Doesn’t apply 6 (A). It retains the structure of the verb as a whole.
Rule 3
Sc of class 11, lu, become lw with vowels beginning with a/e. It becomes l with vowels beginning with o.
Rule 4
Sc of class 15, ku, becomes kw with vowel beginning with a/e. It becomes k with vowels beginning with o.
