Observation:

A

A. Iron: A spark appears, but when the iron reacts with oxygen it burns with a reddish-yellow flame. It leaves behind black wool.
B. Magnesium: When the magnesium reacts with oxygen it burns with a very bright white light. It leaves behind a whit powder.
