Urgent action which can suspend a registrant from practicing - in place upto 18 months + reviewed every 6 months

- Meets in private + doesn’t hear oral evidence

- Warning
- Advice

- Undergo med examination

- Initiate criminal proceedings
What is the FTP committee?
- Hearings in public unless involves health allegation or interim order
- Also hears cases of registants removed from register + wish to apply for restoration
What are aggravating factors?
- Dishonesty
- Under drugs or alcohol
- Lack of insight
What are mitigating factors?
- Relevant personal matters
- Co-operation w/ investigating
- Open during early stages
- Absence of actual harm to public
