- Grip hands rims loosely to control chair descent
- (can descend in wheelie for a steeper ramp)
When ascending curbs best instruction to first give them
Patient needs to pop a wheelie
Best way to descend a curb?
Descend backwards with head and trunk leaned forward.
(can also be a bad bitch and descend in wheelie position)
To rotate 90 degrees how much space (minimum is needed)
36 inches
To rotate 180 degrees how much space (minimum is needed)
60 inches
To rotate 360 degrees how much space (minimum is needed)

Max slope ratio? Grade?
Maximum slope of 1:12
- 12 inches of ramp for every inch of rise
- 8.33% grade; grade slope 4.8 degree angle
Minimum width of Doorways?

36 inches to allow for propulsion
