Week 9: Phonemic Contrast + Error Consistency Flashcards
what is a phonemic error?
difficulty using phonemes to differentiate meaning (rule based error)
ex. child always applies the same rule (FCD)
what is a phonetic error?
phonemic contrast is preserved but there may be a motor based problem
ex. child misarticulates a few sounds
