- increase number of features or sounds in the inventory

child can only produce stress in 2 syllable words but not 3
what is an example of an interaction between stress and segment accuracy?
child can produce sound accurately in stressed syllable but not unstressed
what is an interaction between syllable position and segment accuracy?
segments are only produced accurately when given in a specific word position
