  • they develop the strategy tell it to the executives and then that is where their role stops
  • based on determining mission and strategic directoin
  • establishing clear board and executive roles
  • ensuring governance processes are clearly defined
  • developing clear performance measure
    (you see this a lot more often in larger organizations that have the resources to pay them)
