List the steps for the Walking procedure
- Do the initial steps procedure.
- Assist the resident to sit on the edge of the bed. Encourage the resident to sit for a few seconds to become steady. Check for dizziness.
- Assist the resident to stand on the count of three.
- Allow the resident to gain balance, check for dizziness.
- Stand to the side and slightly behind the resident.
- Walk at the resident’s pace.
- Do the final steps procedure.
