What is a LAN?
A Local Area Network, which is a group of devices in the same broadcast domain.
What does VLAN stand for?
Virtual Local Area Network.
How is a VLAN different from a LAN?
A VLAN is separated logically instead of physically but still within the same broadcast domain.
What is a broadcast domain?
A network segment where broadcast traffic is sent to all devices.
Name three VLAN configurations shown in the example.
Gate room (VLAN 1), Dialing room (VLAN 2), Infirmary (VLAN 3).
What does VPN stand for?
Virtual Private Network.
What is the purpose of a VPN?
To encrypt data traversing a public network, creating a private connection.
What device is used for VPN encryption and decryption?
VPN Concentrator.
What is a Client-to-Site VPN?
It allows remote access from a device to a VPN concentrator on a network
