  3. MANUAL allows for manual open or closed operation of the valve (controlled by the ACSC) ISOL toggle switch

DET TEST switchlight (3 separate functions)

A
  1. The switchlight is used to test the ice detector circuitry and probes. Successful test will be indicated by an ICE caution and illumination of the DET TEST switchlight
  2. Pressed in and hold by the pilot will test the probes and sensor heaters. Successful test will be indicated by a green ADS HEAT TEST OK advisory message
  3. When in icing conditions with the wing or cowls off, the switchlight will illuminate, along with an ICE caution message

  1. Low; All 4 panels are heated to 24 degrees C

2. HI; Windshields are heated to 41 degrees C

  1. Pressed in, Initiates a self-test of the windshield heating system. A successful test is indicated by the L and R WSHLD HEAT and L and R WINDOW HEAT caution message (windshields and windows must be energized prior to the test)
