CARGO COMPARTMENT FIRE
Associated Cargo Smoke Button - PUSH
LAND AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT
DUAL ENGINE FAILURE
EICAS Indication: FAIL icon inside both N1 indicators.
EICAS Indication: Both oil pressure indications in red.
AIRSPEED - 250 KIAS MIN
RAT MANUAL DEPLOY LEVER - PULL
LAND AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT
EMERGENCY DESCENT
FSTN BELTS SWITCH - ON
ALTITUDE - 10,000 FT OR MEA, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER
THRUST LEVERS - IDLE
SPEEDBRAKE LEVER - FULL OPEN
AIRSPEED - MAX/APPROPRIATE
TRANSPONDER - 7700
ATC - NOTIFY
EMERGENCY EVACUATION
PARKING BRAKE - APPLY
COCKPIT DOOR CONTROL LOCK BUTTON - PUSH OUT
THRUST LEVERS - IDLE
ENGINE 1 and 2 START STOP SELECTORS - STOP
ENGINE 1 and 2 FIRE EXTINGUISHING HANDLES - PULL AND ROTATE (1-L and 2-R)
APU EMER STOP BUTTON - PUSH IN
FIRE EXTINGUISHER APU BUTTON - PUSH
DUMP BUTTON - PUSH IN
ATC - NOTIFY
EMERGENCY EVACUATION - ANNOUNCE (direction of exit left or right evacuate (x3) and emergency lights on)
BATT 1 and 2 - OFF
ENGINE ABNORMAL START
AFFECTED ENGINE:
START/STOP SELECTOR - STOP
ENGINE FIRE, SEVERE DAMAGE, OR SEPARATION
AUTOTHROTTLE - DISENGAGE, MONITOR AIRSPEED
Affected Engine:
- THRUST LEVER - IDLE
- START/STOP SELECTOR - STOP
- FIRE EXTINGUISHER HANDLE - PULL
LAND AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT
GEAR LEVER CAN NOT BE MOVED UP
If climb performance is required to clear obstacles:
DN LOCK REL BUTTON - PRESS AND HOLD
LANDING GEAR LEVER - UP
DN LOCK REL BUTTON - RELEASE
JAMMED CONTROL COLUMN (PITCH)
ELEVATOR DISCONNECT HANDLE - PULL
JAMMED CONTROL WHEEL (ROLL)
AILERON DISCONNECT HANDLE - PULL
PITCH TRIM RUNAWAY
AP/TRIM DISC BUTTON - PRESS AND HOLD
PITCH TRIM SYS 1 and SYS 2 CUTOUT BUTTONS - PUSH IN
ROLL (YAW) TRIM RUNAWAY
STEER DISENGAGE SWITCH - PRESS
USE DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING AND RUDDER TO STEER THE PLANE
UNRELIABLE AIRSPEED
AUTOTHROTTLE - DISENGAGE
AVOID QUICK THRUST LEVER MOVEMENTS
AUTOPILOT - DISENGAGE
FLIGHT DIRECTOR - OFF
YAW DAMPER - OFF
SET THE FOLLOWING ALTITUDE/THRUST FOR:
SLAT/FLAP ZERO - PITCH 2 DEGREES AND N1 70%
SLAT/FLAP EXTENDED - PITCH 7 DEGREES AND N1 70%
CAUTION!: AVOID USING THE SPEEDBRAKE
