Help students stay well on campus
System Navigation:
Peer navigators assist with health services (Peer Wellness Chat, Wellness Lounge)

Peer volunteers educate and run wellness workshops
Mandate
Promote health education, prevention, and wellness
Support academic success and overall student well-being

Peers assist with healthcare navigation

Ottawa Charter (1986): Defines health prerequisites, with emblems: Advocate, Enable, Mediate
Okanagan Charter (2015): Promotes health integration in campus culture, uOttawa signed in 2021
ACHA Standards (2019): Guides health promotion professionals, focusing on ethics, well-being, and community.
