This is where the objectives of the data analysis program is set.
- Define scope
This stage defines restrictions on the project.
- Identify potential sources
The planners of a project should be able to identify a wide range of sources and ensure that the information gathered is suitable, provides enough information to cover the objectives and is unbiased.
- Source and select information.
This is the stage where the information is gathered and the best is selected.
- Select the most appropriate tools
Information may be presented in many different ways, what do you need in order to process, manipulate and present the information.
- Process and analyse data
This is where data that has been collected is entered into software and analysed.
- Record and store information
This is the stage where reports into the findings are written.
- Share results
This is where the results are published so that stakeholders can inspect them.
