More and more visitors come as facilities are built. Control or tourism passes from locals to big companies
What is consolidation?
Tourism is still a big part of local economy but numbers are beginning to level off
What is stagnation?
Where visitor numbers have peaked, facilities are no longer as good and tourists have damaged environment making it less attractive
What is rejuvenation?
Area to rejuvenated so more people attracted by new facilities
What is decline?
Fewer visitors come as the area is less attractive, facilities become run down and shut down
