What aircraft have right of way?
Outbound aircraft have right of way
This means that you DO NOT overtake/pass without approval from Ground
What is the taxi speed inside of the line?
5-7kts (no faster than a walk)

10-12kts (no faster than a trot)
When holding short of RWY 13L/R and RWY 18 on RWY 04/22…what side of the taxiway centerline should VFR traffic hold short on? What about IFR traffic?

How can you actually enter into the Mustang working areas?
Once you are actually established under the assigned working area, climb to the working altitudes

How would you exit the Mustang working area?
- Contact Corpus Approach on CH 17 UHF…advise complete in the working area and state intentions
*If returning to KNGP, contact Corpus Approach on CH 8 UHF and join the Northern or Southern arrival
How would you exit Mustang Areas 5-8?
Proceed to the beachline and descent to 4,500’ MSL PRIOR to transiting under adjacent Mustang areas
What are the working altitudes for the Foxtrot working areas?
- Low Block: 6,000’ - 11,000’ MSL
- High Block: 12,000’ - 17,999’ MSL
What are the transition layers for the Foxtrot Working areas?
- Low Block Transition: 5000’ - 6000’ MSL
- High Block Transition: 11,000’ - 12,000’ MSL
How do you enter the Foxtrot working areas?
- When you approach the southern boundary, terminal with Corpus Approach (CH 17 UHF)
- Switch to Foxtrot Common frequency
- Fly ~055° until area deconflicted
- Climb/Descend to working altitude or transition layer
What is the Foxtrot Common Frequency?
CH 22 UHF
How do you exit the Foxtrot Working Area?
- By either climbing/descending to either transition layer…departing laterally…or coordinating to climb/descend through an unoccupied area in Foxtrot
- State the area you are departing and intentions on Foxtrot Common
- Join the Northern Arrival once clear of the Foxtrot Working areas
What are the working altitudes for the Kings4 MOA?
- Low Block: 9,000’ - 14,000’ MSL
- High Block: 15,000’ - 22,000’ MSL
What is the transition layer altitude for the Kings4 MOA?
Transition Layer: 14,000’ - 15,000’ MSL where:
- Westerly traffic @ 14,200’ MSL
- Easterly traffic @ 14,700’ MSL

What frequency is the Kings4 MOA Common on?
CH 20 UHF
How do you enter the Kings4 MOA?
- Execute a Rusty Departure from KNGP
- When directed by Corpus Approach, contact Houston Center
- When cleared by Houston Center, enter the working area laterally by using the transition block @ 14,500’ MSL
If proceeding to Aransas County (KRKP) from the Kings4 MOA, what should you do?
- Descend within the lateral confines of the working area to 2500’ MSL
- Proceed direct to Woodsboro once @ 2500’ MSL
- Cross Woodsboro and contact Corpus Approach on CH 6 UHF with intentions
- Fly to Bayside ~145°
- Once you pass Bayside, terminate with Corpus Approach and switch to KRKP CTAF on CH 21 VHF and CH 21 UHF
If returning to NAS Corpus Christi from the Kings4 MOA, what should you do?
- Descend within the lateral confines of the working area to 2500’ MSL
- Proceed direct to Woodsboro once at 2500’ MSL
- Join the Goliad Arrival
If proceeding to Goliad from the Kings4 MOA, what should you do?
- Switch to the KNGT Common frequency (CH 15 UHF/VHF) once clear of the MOA
- Remain outside of 5NM or above 5,000’ MSL while maneuvering for the initial for the runway in use
