A
asympto often Sx- green/yellow FROTHY discharge offensive odour dyspareunia vulval itch/sorenesss lower abdo pain
O/E- see frothy discharge, strawberry cervix (KEY WORD) with BV as cause of high pH (>4.5)

A
High vaginal swab -posterior fornix-
pH> 4.5-
direct microscopy on wet slide shows flagellated organisms
Endocervical for other STI
MC&S
(HIV test, NAAT, VDLR, etc)

1st line - metrodinazole 400mg 7d
2nd line - Metrodinazole 2g STAT
contact tracing, abstinecne and follow up
