What is cervical ectropion
normal epithelium of endocervix is columnar bu tecto cervix is squamous
in ectropion– ectocervical mugration of culumnar epithelium ( columnar comes out of cervix into ectocervix)
Linked with oestrogen -pregnancy, COCP
sx- IMB, PCB, increased discharge
Ix - speculum
Mx - reassure, cauterise, cryotherapy
avoid oestogen contraceptives
What is cervical polyp

Overgrwoth of endocervial columbar epithelium -benign/solitary
can be linked to oestrogen
Ix - speculum
sx - often asympto-but can get small bleeding/discharge -if around cervix can have PCB
Mx - generally advised to remove -if small twist off
or surgery
send for histology in case
What is Endometrial polyps
sx - PCB, IMB -often asympto discovered randomly
Ix TVUSS
outpatient hysterescopy
mx - can self resolve if small
polyeptomy to allieviate
