what are Active trigger points?

A
Painful at rest and with movement, 
Prevents mm from fully lengthening, 
Local ischemia and tenderness, 
Referral with compression, 
Twitch response.

What are Latent Trigger points?

A

More common,
Pain only on palpation,
May become active,

Latent trigger points also have all the same qualities as Active.
