What were the terms of the treaty?
A
Guilt for the war: Had to accept full blame.
Armed forces limited: 100,000 men in army, conscription banned, no submarines or Air Force, 6 battleships and had to demilitarise Rhineland.
Reparations:6.6 billion to pay in compensation for damages in war.
Germany lost territory: Alsace Lorraine given back to France, land given to Belgium, Denmark, Poland and Lithuania and German colonies taken.
League of Nations: international forum to settle disputes without violence
Extra points: forbade Anschluss between Germany and Austria, made Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania independent.
